About me
I obtained my primary degree in Medical Physiology and Anatomy from The University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. I completed my medical degree at University College London, University of London in 1993.
I spent six years in hospital medicine and I have worked in General Practice medicine since 1999. I also worked as a Flying Doctor in remote northern Canada.
I am involved in medical education and have taught undergraduate medical students from five universities, currently University of Queensland.
I am a procedural GP. This means that I am trained to perform surgical procedures in a General Practice setting. These procedures include skin lesions and skin cancer removals and other surgical procedures including vasectomy, and hormone implants and removal.
I have been performing vasectomies since 2011.
